ABSTRACT

Following a brief review of the Emerging Model of Lasallian Research, this essay narrates recent developments in the International Association of Lasallian Universities (IALU) Research Agenda. The agenda is articulated in a five-year plan to address two themes demanding research-based interventions: food, nutrition, and health, and sustainability and the environment. The essay concludes with a call to scholars to engage in this agenda, by means including but not limited to participation in the Lasallian Research Leaders’ Workshops embedded in proceedings of the Second Annual Symposium on Lasallian Research.
